Quentin and his friends have made first contact with Hulsey, a Human representative of the as-yet-unseen Portath. Hulsey gave the grim news that while she could help Quentin find his lost sister, Jeanine, and his friend Fred, that wouldn’t do Quentin much good, because he and his friends would never be allowed to leave the Portath Cloud. Instead of rescuing his sister, is Quentin doomed to remain just as lost as she was?

I literally can. not. express how much I love the continuity in the Siglerverse. The sci-fi-nerd/science teacher/realist in me loves the grounding in real science that your universe uses and how it all easily (appears to anyway) fits together with amazing continuity. I’ve listened to every single audiobook you’ve done, proudly buying almost all of them, except for Infected and Contagious, which are the ones that got me hooked. I can’t wait to see how The Heretic fits into the story. He’s got to fit into the galactic battle somehow, once it kicks off. Your universe is so well laid out (with purpose), and connected, I don’t see you randomly weaving this intricate story with so many crossovers to only leave it as a stand alone story.

I’m also kind of waiting for one of the Saviors/Marie’s Children, and the demon that likes dogs, to show up in the GFL series.

God damn it Scott…you’ve gotten way to good at manipulating me into buying your books. But I’m totally cool with it because it was cheap on amazon. Gonna burn through this bad boy in the next couple days.

But its really cool to see our good buddies the Rocktopi again.

This was a ridiculously amazing episode. One of my favorite things about the Siglerverse is that it IS the Siglerverse. Everything is connected. Earthcore. The Crypt. Love it, love it, love it.

A smell an epic war novel a brewin, my guess is GFL 6-7 are going to be less football more galactic war against total annihilation with Quintin and the Krakens using their mighty rage reserves in combat against the insecticidal hordes as they descend upon the Milky Way Galaxy.

my beard felt a great disturbance in the Siglerverse, as if millions of Portath voices suddenly cried out in terror and were suddenly silenced. I fear something terrible has happened.

looks like there might have been another voice box malfunction in this episode.

I replied to the Director of Doom’s email reply to my previous voice box malfunction email.
