ALREADY GOT THE ROOKIE? THEN LEAVE A REVIEW, MANG!
It’s brand-new, so the reviews at Audible and iTunes are looking a bit bare. If you listened to the story already and don’t want to experience this gritty coming-of-age story a second time, do us a favor and leave a review (or two, or in all three places). Reviews are author gold and one of the best ways to show your love for a work.

Chick: That’s like a .
Masara: Chick!!
Chick: Sorry, Masara, sorry.
One of my favorite parts of each episode…
That goes without saying!
YES! – I cannot wait to subject my Husband to the GFL series. He is a big audible listener – so now I bought it for him to listen to.
And I love the way you narrate, Scott. Made me love the series, although I have no interest in American football .. but the game comes alive in your narration.
I am sooo excited!
Thanks.
@Danish_Mom: I’m thrilled you bought it for him and that you enjoy it, too. Oddly enough, I don’t really think the story is about football. I think it’s a hero’s journey that just happens to be set against the backdrop of a football league instead of a space-war or a medieval kingdom.
That’s why I like it (despite the Football).
But sometimes things like sport-commentators can scare away people who never watch any sports. Ever. At all.
Again thanks for the great work you are doing.
@Danish_Mom: But I am guessing you like the commentating of Chick McGee and Masara the Observant, right? Right?!
Off course. That goes without saying!
It needs to be added to the GFL series in audible. As it is now it appears to be a standalone book and the series looks like it’s missing book 1.
