If your computer and local backups die, those things go away — forever. Carbonite launched its online backup service in May 2006. Its
industry-first offer of unlimited backup space for a flat low price
revolutionized the market for consumer and small business backup
services. So far, Carbonite has backed up over 3 billion files and more

    Awww, shuks

I just messed up my chances of a cosy ‘quietly in his sleep’-death of old age the other day by harassing the FDO by email on the gargantuan price difference (0,99 in the US vs. 13.43 for The Rest of The World)

And all it took was a little ‘proxy exercise’ – nice trick and thanx to Belladonna420 and TheNutofRed!

For anyone NOT in the USA

    Download and install proxpn (www.proxpn.com)

Sign up for a free account and connect to the proxy in Miami FL.

This will make it look like you are coming from the US and therefore elegible for the 0.99c download specials from Amazon.

    good for anonymous browsing also

    Someone on Twitter

said they just changed their country to US and it let them buy it…

    Multiple editions = clutter

I sure wish Amazon could figure out a way to roll up editions of a book (hardcover, kindle and audiobook) into one so the top seller lists don’t get cluttered. It’s much nicer to see that Scott has the #2 best selling horror book on Amazon, not the 4th.

    Great gift idea!

I just sent the Kindle version to my nephew – he’s in the Navy and is going to be heading out to sea for several months. Some Sigler stank will keep him company.
