Can't make the tour? A little samplin' of the FDO live

A big thanks to Elliot Gould of Render Edge Media for shooting this sweet coverage of the Boston ANCESTOR tour stop. Can’t make it out to a tour stop? Well this video will help you with the shakes. He has a crapload more video coverage of the Q&A that follows, just click on the “Watch on YouTube” icon in the lower right of the screen above, then look on the right-hand side of the page that pops up.

    Damn, and Crown didn’t know?

They should have researched her schedule!

Guess who was at B&N today?

That’s right, the nemisis of the FDO – Julie Andrews! She was hawking some children’s book. I think I know why Ancestor didn’t do quite as well on the NY Times list. It’s the Andrews AGAIN!!

Something needs to be done before the next book release to stop her evil ways.

Thanks for sharing! I love the way he dips in and out of different voices without changing expressions on his face – scarily cool!

I like the touch where it can only begin when the jacket IS ON!

    Excellent Video

I remember seeing this being filmed, and I must say I am very impressed by how the finished product looks (especially considering the relatively short time between the reading and when the videos were posted.  Excellent job!

    The Source of the Chatter…

Yeah, the book store was having a Magic tournement at the same time as Scott was reading. The players were literally just around the corner, so their voices carried easily into our space. I’m sure they were probably rolling their eyes wondering who this guy was. Smile. A lapel mic would have helped…

I swear, that was pure sex. I wish i could travel to a tour stop, but Edmonton is so far from even Toronto.

    Nocturnal in London?

There’s sewers, abandoned tunnels, subways, secret passages under the city – what more do you want?

    Bryan could be on vacation…

Thanks. Now I know what I missed at the Perth reading, which I couldn’t attend because …ummm… ‘something important came up’.

    Quite melancholy

This video depresses me in the fact I won’t be able to catch this tour. But happy for those who made it! Good job Scott I’ll make it one of these days!
