Cheers Everybody - its Frank Frazetta (RIP) meets Annie Leibovitz. A melange of acrylic art (artist unknown) (yes I wish I had painted it) ... and photographic sampling (self portrait with studio lights) worked over with Aperture V2.0 - NIK Colour Effex Pro 3.0 - and Photoshop CS3. I got right into the fine detail and will have this printed for my studio.... as I said, I can't claim the paint but the photoshopping etc was well worth the experience - I'm now doubly inspired to work with this mediun more.
