Here's my question. What is the point of the lab on the C-5?

Here's why I ask. Why would Genada invest so much friggin' money on a mobile lab that is only going to be used on a three hour flight? Wouldn't it make more sense to just setup the lab on the island and continue the experiment on the ground?

Having the final immune response test take place on the plane does very little to move the story along.

I know, "Everyone's a friggin' critic". Just my observation.
