I'm just a damned dirty junkie.

Oh, I was arrogant, thought I could handle it.  I wasn't going to get hooked.  After all there was plenty of Sigler goodies in the pipeline for me to smoke. It started with the Crypt, then a little Infected.  After that I listened to the Rookie, then promptly ordered my Rookie/Starter editions.  Should have recognized I had a problem when I received my books and mainlined Rookie and Starter in a single weekend.  Then I started dabbling in Ancestor--my first attempt at a non complete podcast.  Started on one episode per dog walk.  Pretty soon I was walking that poor dog to exhaustion just so I would have an excuse to have two.  Then Thursday I receached the dreaded message, "You have caught up with the author".  After Sunday's episode I'm really jonsing. I'm sitting in the corner, rocking back and forth, writing haikus on the wall with my own blood.

What kills us, doesn't make us stronger.
