Angela, I can promise you

that the people on this site and some of the most caring and thoughtful and caring human beings I have ever met. They have helped me through (and are currently helping me through) some of the darkest and toughest times in my life. Black humour and banter is used as a means of escapism from the troubles of real life and to try and forget the world for a while. In doing this, I think we forgot that there was a real man behind this fighting for his life. I'm so sorry if we caused you any additional pain with our banter but I can promise you that every one of us hopes Scott makes a full recovery and that the scum bag that did this is found and brought to justice. Please accept our sincere apologies as they are truly heartfelt.
