I call bullshit

This has to be a fake news story. I mean come on, nobody actually lives in South Dakota, do they? I always thought it was just a bunch of useless land that we stole from the natives, not so much because we wanted it but more because we didn't want them to have it, and it just kinda got chopped in half and made into two new states because, seriously, no one else would take it. Hell, Canada didn't even want it.
