.....saturation low on purpose? Many more people play in the primary forums, and the Sunday 'cast is where you're going to have your maximum amount of Junkies.

I'm reasonably certain that if all of the boxes at the bottom get checked it actually hurts your ranking. Each box acts as a filter. So in order for THE ROOKIE to rise quickly, it would need other Amazon customers who were purchasing books that were:

Football AND
Science Fiction AND
Sports AND
Young Adult AND
FICTION / Science Fiction / Space Opera AND
SPORTS & RECREATION / Football 

The GFL series are the novels are the only ones I can think of off hand that meet all six of those. It would be more effective to have Junkies either saturate one or two topics or perhaps spread them over a broad range. If everyone checked all six boxes, you're actually getting back a statistical result that's lower than if we did nothing and let Joe Shopper do his thing.
