didn't happen for me during Siglerfest but I'm planning a story where muscle turnes to bone.  Yep, a real genetic disease causes this problem.  Morgegellans ain't got nothing on FOP (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fibrodysplasia_ossificans_progressiva).
