really, to an aussie we arent rude, calling someone a bastard, cunt, motherfucker... and all sorts of things (as long as not said with real malace or anger) are not considered to be rude at all. "Fuck you you fucking bastard" is an acceptable reply to a friend who just bought you (input: something you love that is expansive, like tickets to that concert you love)
