My mother is a wounded warrior. Not by conventional standards, mind you. She has no bullet wounds or missing limbs. She was a nurse in 'nam and she retired as Captain. The wounds she carries are in her heart. She saw the results of things no man should ever see or experience on the fieeld of battle. But her physical disability is respiratory in nature; fortunate, considering.... Today, her disability is upwards of 30%
