I may be opening up a can of worms here but IMO League is the game with the big hits and Union is the running game. The 6 tackles in league lends itself to the first 3 tackles or so consiting of the biggest guy on the attacking team running into the biggest 3 guys on the defending team setting it up for the backs on the later tackles. Union is all about keeping the play going or going for field position.
