My copies of the Rookie and Starter are two of my favourite books, because of just how nicely they're put together. The quality of the paper, the strength of the binding, the colour inserts...I would buy a lot more books if they were put together like that. I mean, I know there's that small pub that puts out like expensive, limited copies of Gaiman etc, but they're collector's pieces, you can't imagine too many people reading them, but if I could drop $34.95 on a hardcover copy of (for example) Neverwhere, with a colour map of London Below, or whatever, my money would be on the table.

 

For those who miss out on the original print run, there's always the future paperback runs (those would be ok to do as POD).
