Y'know, it just makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside when I see so-called traditional institutions get all shook up over things. Watching them go into panic mode just makes me sigh in contentment. Now, I've got nothing against groups that want to help people out there with their chosen profession, but Hendrix's comments to me sound less like a statement for so-called integrity of the art, and more like a whiny complaint that he'll no longer be making as much money as he did before...OR...the fact that now he just might have to work a little bit harder to attract readers to his work. This just makes me want to work harder to finish and podcast my own stuff, just to be counted amongst the many voices of the new en route to topple the establishment of the old.
