Every now and then someone takes a crack at a movie based on one of his stories. I'd read that most studios are reluctant to do his stuff because it's public domain and not something they can leverage as a property or license. Maybe when you die, after x number of years you release all your works into public domain? I know you've probably got heirs to feed and what not, I guess it all depends on how it plays out for you, but it really seems to have put a damper on seeing Cthulu everywhere, and most of the movies that are done from his works seem to be done by people that highly respect his work. Anyway, just a thought. You'd def wanna do more research into my theory that public domain keeps the hungry Hollywood studios at bay before you wrote it into your will hehe.
