Scott, Don't worry too much about people not understanding American Football. I (for one) don't know ANYTHING about it, but I can understand that Quentin Barnes fumbled the throw and that it was intercepted. Since I mostly listen while driving I cannot concentrate on the gameplay anyway (I have no time/concentration to build a picture in my head). I just treat it as I do descriptions of space battles. I take the excitement from the tension build in the telling, not from the actual images in my head of positions and tactics.
