What I saw was a little more like a Gorilla/Hyena mix with a few reptiian properties. It seems that every time someone saw an Ancestor with its fin down at a distance their mind searched for something to associate it with. They usually ended up associating it with a wolf/dog. Not a cougar, or a bear, or a dinosaur, The only other reference other than that was that it’s mouth was HUGE and much too large for its body. Also, it mouth looks a lot like a WIDE alligator mouth. So, knowing that I’d have to say that Adam’s is the most accurate.
