The eye- got to me, but more of Perry's realizing that those eyes belong to a LIVING thing! You know when you are looking at a rock (which doesn't look back at you), or an animal - which: "you know, that it knows that you BOTH are alive!" I was in a haunted house where a 1920's camera was infested with something very alive and nasty. I remember the first time I looked at that camera and had the bone chilling realization that the camera was alive and conscious of my presence. One of the few times I wasn't drunk, but really wished I had been! Your style is like Stephen King meets Conan the Barbarian! Awesome!
