Being from St. Louis, I can tell you that St. Louisians rarely think of STL as being a place that anybody gives a rat's @$$ about. I've never heard anyone NOT from STL make reference to east STL violence. So, my question is...what was your exposure to STL that gave you the perspective to reference it in this story? Just curious...
