Sorry you didn't get on the NYT list, but if it's any concellation, I've had a really hard 12 months. I'm a paramedic in the Uk and the winters are miserable. My Dad died about 7 months ago and as can be expected I took it really hard. Various other problems too but I won't bore you. The point I want to make is, I've listened to most of your books now and love them, they have kept me sane through some dark times, they have kept me distracted when I'm alone driving to work etc. I genuinely believe that your books have stopped me going a bit mad. So who cares about what the NYT thinks, you have really got me through some tough shit as well as keeping me entertained as hell. Not the most eloquent post but I guess you get the idea. Cheers Steve
