Of the 3, I would have to go with the "Blue cover". With that said, I have a few comments that may be helpful for you. First off, just to let you know, I happen to be a professional graphic designer and currently work for a large ad agency so I'm not talking completely out of my ass here. The treatment on the "Nocturnal" title font looks pretty good. A simple glow around the san serif font is rather simplistic, but the beams coming through the "U" gives it a great feel. Keep the font and treatment the same. Looks good and is symmetric too. What I would change is the background. The bluish glow around the moon adds a good effect but the transparency of it becomes a bit distracting, especially when it collides with the clouds at the top. I would try adding a mask to the picture behind the moon to cover up the clouds and hills, etc. I would not simply bring the moon to 100 opacity, because then I think it would be too overwhelming. The next thing I would do is darken the background picture. It looks washed out, and with the glow it looks even worse. Also darkening the background will help with the symmetry and also attract more eyes with the contrast (the human eye is attracted to contrasting elements...aka, white on black). The darker background will also enhance much of the glow effect around the moon and the title. There's my two cents. Hope it was helpful. Let me know if you have any questions.
