Tigris Big Cat

A badger is not shit compared to some of the things lurking around the network of canals in Iraq. In April of 2003, members of my unit including myself saw a lion sized cat eating a donkey that had been hit by a military vehicle. It would come in and out of the bamboo like plants along the Tigris. After night fall we continued watching it with N.O.D.'s. The Tigris did not get that name for nothing. They were no reports of this animal being captured or killed.
