Wow, seeing the creature "in the flesh" like this certainly brings it to life. Sweet detail with the big, brown cow-eyes. :-) I don't remember if this was specified in in the book, but: How about putting the eyes between the tentacles instead of directly above them? That'd give it stereoscopic view(s) for the tentacles.
