No way to tell

The stats track download requests, not actual downloads (which is apparently very difficult to do), or hits based on unique IP. Mevio stats track raw hits to the file, which includes hits from crawlers, spiders, or people whose iTunes is refreshing every fifteen minutes. The feed had 253,000 download "requests" in August 2008, which includes NOCTURNAL and INFECTED. That did not include ANCESTOR, THE ROOKIE, BLOODCASTs or EARTHCORE. Obviously, that doesn't tell us very much about the total listenership, but since Mevio tracks all the other shows based on requests, it gave them an apples-to-apples comparison. How did it compare against other shows? No idea, they don't share that information.

It's kind of irrelevant now, since Mevio's strategy has moved to focus entirely on video shows. It's also irrelevant because they pass out the affiliate codes to multiple shows. One of their top producers has a hard rock music show that nodbody actually listens to, he's just very good at search enging optimization.
