A Charitable Suggestion to Spread the Evil...
Hey, since kit makes a very professional looking DVD set once it is done, here is an idea that would not only promote Siglerism to a wider audience, but also do some good as well.
Junkies could make an extra DVD set or two than they want for handing out to friends and family, and drop them into donation boxes for places like the Goodwill or Salvation Army thrift stores. There are lots of these organizations that take used items and resell them as a way to raise funds to help the less fortunate, and most of them also provide jobs for the handicapped and other people who have difficulties finding work elsewhere. Over the years I have picked up many used books and CD's in such stores, along with the occasional item of clothing or kitchen gadget.
I would think that as long as the home-printed parts of the kit were done on a high enough quality printer that the cases and DVD labels looked reasonably professional that they would be treated the same as any other audio book donation. And let's not forget that many of these organizations are going to be financially struggling with the double whammy of lower donations and having to serve more people in need, so every little bit of help they can get helps. (Also, let's not forget that it would be an excellent time to donate any other appropriate items you are not using anymore when you go to drop off your extra FDO DVDs - or even if you aren't planning on donating anything Sigler related.)
What do you think FDO? Looks like a win-win to me, but you're the Overlord - the armies are awaiting your command.
Later...
