Dark ∅verlord Media is considering using TITLE FIGHT to anchor a short story collection of tales that take place between THE ROOKIE and THE STARTER. These stories may or may not be directly involved with the Krakens franchise. Considering that TITLE FIGHT is already 37,000 words, and will probably be about 40,000 after re-writes. Add in four more long stories of 10,000 words or so (maybe a tale from the BUDDAH CITY GREENS, for example), and you've got a sold 80,000-word book. I don't know if this would be hardcover, because with THE STARTER coming up we'll be focused on making that a tricked-out book like THE ROOKIE, and that's a lot of work. We'll see, just depends on how ANCESTOR sales go.
