The iPod doesn't have a microphone built into it - like the mouthpiece for the iphone. You can only get it through a set of headphones that have the microphone included; mine, for instance, did not come with those lovely headphones, so no microphone for me. I guess I should have said that it doesn't have a built-in microphone.

I'm very curious to know if you can use those headphone/microphones to make a skype call. The Touch will not let you pair your typical cell phone bluetooth headset to it; it only allows non-microphone bluetooth accessories to pair.

And the location determination thing is based on wifi; there's no GPS.
