I would bet its true

The August Chronicle was my 1st job out of college -- and they are totally right-wing. The main editorial writer when I was there was a member of the John Birch society. I hated Augusta -- yes, there are some nice people there, but they are still stuck in small, Southern town mentality.

Did you read the comments on that column? Yes, that's what living in Augusta is like.

James Brown used to live there and drive the white folks nutty every year-- he had a black Santa on his lawn. (WTG James!)

I'm glad that the columnist called the AABA what it is -- a bunch of racists. Are we sure that the columnist is on the staff at the AC? or was he a guest writer?
