Well, after listening/reading the full article ........

......which can be found here, my opinion is that this is a classic case of good intentions, abominable implementation.

I've never met nor heard of Don "Moose" Lewis, but I'd like to give him the benefit of the doubt. Perhaps he is just a short sighted idiot? Many people, myself included, suffer from myopia. They are not able to look at the world from other peoples point of view. I am fortunate enough to be self aware of this flaw within myself. I am constantly vigilant against making mistakes that might get me into trouble because of my inability to see other folks' point of view.

Would people be up in arms if Mr. Lewis had created a league that was inclusive rather than exclusive, vetting players with interviews based on their character? I doubt it. Maybe I'm too optimistic about humanity overall. It's possible that this guy is a racist prig and he's simply put a media spin on his intentions.

It's impossible for us to know what goes on inside someone else's head. I suppose that's why we must judge the man by his actions. Glass house spotted. Stones at the ready? FIRE!

Regardless, the AABA is a horrendous idea. Yet maybe it will bring the Purists out of the woodwork so we can ship them off planet. That would be a good thing, right? Then the Sklorno could saturation bomb them into oblivion and the universe would be much shinier
