When we announced the 2012 tour schedule, there were shouts from Junkies all over the world: "When are you coming to [insert my hometown here]!!" "When will I get a chance to raise a glass with the FDØ?" Well, Junkies, now's your chance. We've teamed up with the fine folks at Shindig Events and we'll have a virtual tour stop this Friday, March 30th, at 3:00pm PST. And no matter where in the world you are, here's your chance to hear Scott read from NOCTURNAL, ask questions in real time, chat with other attendees, and even talk face-to-face with Scott. That's right, no matter where you are, no matter how many other folks show up, we'll have room for you too!
What do you have to do? Easy:
- On Friday at 3:00pm PST (or whatever that works out to be in your town) head on over to: www.shindig.com/event/37-Scott-Sigler
- Enter your name and a valid email address. You'll also need a computer with a webcam and mic if you want to be seen and heard.
- If you've got a question, come ask during the Q&A, but keep in mind this is a public event.
- If you're so inclined, bring a beverage of your choice to enjoy during the Q&A. I'm pretty sure Scott will be ready to raise a glass by Friday afternoon.
That's it! The Shindig Events interface is super easy to use, and it'll only take a minute to learn how to ask a question (either by text or live on-camera), chat with other Junkies directly, or mingle with the assembled folk.

Pimpin' ain't easy ... well, okay, this time it was easy and fun.
I'm sure you guys have heard me blab before, but I'm a huge fan of the Nerdist podcast (with Chris Hardwick, Jonah Ray and fellow lefty-bassist Matt Mira), and a huge fan of Hardwick's stand-up comedy.
I was sooper lucky enough to go on @Nerdist and pimp Nocturnal. Y'all should listen, as the Director of Døøm herself was also called to a mic to talk publishing, getting books turned into movies, sports and Tom Hanks. Tom Hanks should star in everything, by the way.

Trust me, I want you guys to climb on-board the SiglerFest train too — just give me a little bit more time to get things ready for you.

A few things to note:
- Information from folks who really think they might attend is the most useful. Everyone's welcome to complete the survey, but it's quite specific to likely attendees.
- We plan to record the event for sharing here on the site at a later date. Live-streaming the event is unlikely due to hotel restrictions, but we'll capture what we can and share as we're able.
- The hotel isn't finalized as yet. We're trying hard, but it's still not quite done. We strongly advise you to wait until you hear official details in this feed before making any arrangements.
- Current plan is for informal gathering on Thursday night for anyone who has already arrived, SiglerFest 2012 Friday and Saturday with informal evening things, and unstructured Sunday morning prior to departure.
- Registration costs are not yet finalized, but will likely be ~$40 or so.
