Well Junkies, I for one will be doing my bit, but don't know if I'll get enough points to win it! It's a fantastic prize and it's all to promote General Siglerisimo!
As I, and others, have said on the forum - you've gotta promote the FDO to get him more exposure, which in turn will lead to more competitions like this, and the others which have ran recently.
And also, by getting Scott's name out there in more places (like your blog, website, Twitter, Facebook, bulletin boards at work, word of mouth etc), you will be securing his future to keep releasing more fantastic content on this site and in the feed. You will also be guaranteeing more of those lovely books to place on your shelf, which if you admit, are freakin' awesome to look at and own!
I hope that the new Junkies (and the old...! - in name only...!) get behind this competition and do their bit to further The Cult of Siglerism.

Kewl idea, my friend. Followed the FDO marching orders and got the BMB link - posted to all social networking sites (Hell, I even posted it on JC Hutchins page ;-) )
It gets better - it was text messaged out to a proverbial CRAPLOAD of cell phones (like, 4235 at last count)

I tried to do this & link it to my facebook, but the link that Back My Book set up did not work. Someone might want to look into this & verify that the site is creating active links.
Not to be overly critical, but it looks like the overall code on BackMyBook is pretty buggy, I'm seeing overlapping layers and text that runs off the margins all over the place when I resize the window in IE. Seems to work okay in Chrome and Firefox though. Look I know that it's the "hip" thing to hate on Microsoft, but many many people do still use IE. Whoever designed the backmybook site really needs to respect that and make sure their code works properly across all platforms.
Sorry for the rant but I used to be a web designer & work like this is just sloppy.

I am pleading to the good nature of all my friends on Tumblr, Facebook, MySpace, and Twitter. Being a 40-year old gimp (or disabled person, for those of you who automatically think of the guy in the leather zipper mask on Pulp Fiction - I'm not that person), my whole life is reading and interacting with people on the Internet. Thus, I'm asking my friends, "For the love of all that is holy and good" (see above) to click on my link to help me gain points to win the Nook and autographed books.
They understand that my entire life consists of reading and perusing the Internet. It's not much of a life, but it's mine and it's all I can do at the moment. I'm asking for clicks through the use of humor (such as the link entitled, "Hey, look! Nekked pictures of me!"), good, old fashioned guilt ("remember that time I asked you all to fold me a thousand origami cranes?"), and pity ("Oh, me so gimpy"),
I really want the Nook because, with my disability, it is very painful to hold even a paperback book most of the time. I've been an avid reader since the 2nd grade and having that be taken away from me, along with every other aspect of my once-healthy life, is more than I can bear.
My multi-faceted approach deserves some points for style, in my very humble and gimpy opinion.
