Looking good!

Very subtle changes from the original version.

Love the addition of the flesh wounds. There's so many references in the books to dirt, blood and grass marks on the players that it's neat to see it incorporated into this cover. It also let's the reader know (if they don't already) that these ain't your mama's aliens... there will be blood and here's your pictoral warning.

Also love the additon of the GFL patch in the upper left corner of the jersey. That's an extra special touch as it looks just like the home jersey I ordered from the PodcastJunk guys. Outstanding bit of detail.

When i started reading The Rookie and The Starter, I burned through them both in about 2 days. Have a feeling I am going to take a year or more of FDO's work, and consume it again in a day.

Life's tough. It's tougher if you're stupid. Absolutum obsoletum -- If it works, it's out of date.
