FridayFix™: Sneak peek at the GFL Tier One logo contenders!

Just one week left in the contest to create logos for the Tier One teams in THE STARTER. Each winning entry is worth $50 (USD) and there's no limit to how many logos you can submit, or how many times any one artist can win, but you have to enter by 11:59pm on 5/15/2010. And while picking the winners is something we'll do internally, we're not above hitching up our skirts and showing you a little taste of the fan-freakin'-tastic entries we've received. To be fair to all the entrants, I've picked the very first submission, the most recently submitted, and five more using a random number generator. These are just a taste for you to enjoy this fine Friday, with no Dark Øverlord Media preference stated by the posting itself. These are just snapshots, you can see the full-sized logos at Scott's Flickr page.

So my wife has finished her version of the Chilich Spider-Bears (my basic idea, her amazing talent) and it is being submited... Whether is wins or loses- it will be my version for our GFL fantasy league we run each year!!! (Down with those damn Krakens! 2 years the friggin winner...going down this year!!!!!)

I have 12 designs mostly drawn out, but none rendered completely. As luck would have it, I only have a logo done for one of these teams. But all the remaining ones I have left to do are these teams and a few more. I shall have an interesting week... SE YOU ALL AT THE FINISH LINE.

Just make sure you submit what you got by deadline
The more finished they are, the better your chances, but if you can't quite knock it out make sure you get them in anyway. Make sure at least one is FINISHED, so we see what you can do.
Nothing to worry about!
I have lots of free time, so scanning and rendering the designs this week will be no problem. besides, I love last minute motivation! I've got some top notch stuff in the works at this very moment.
