And one more snippet from SigerFest for now. This is one more short story Scott wrote in his senior year of high school, and published in the Young Author's Showcase. You've heard all about Scott's travails on the football field in high school, right?  I promise you haven't heard much about this. This one? It has rapping. And wizards.

Again, I'd recommend SiglerFest 2012 if you can make it.  It's going to be a grand ol' time fore sure. In the meantime, take a listen to what you missed out on back in May!

AUTHOR'S NOTE: Scott here, adding in a note. This might be the most-embarassing story I have ever created. I wrote this as a senior in high school, when Run DMC, Beastie Boys, NWA, Salt-n-Peppa and Kid-N-Play were ripping off faces all over the world. I'd read some of the SPELLSINGER series by Alan Dean Foster, and felt that hip-hop would be "bitchin' " (I belive that was the word I used at the time) as a poetic form of spell-casting. I'm sure I thought this was fantastic when I wrote it. Enjoy a laugh at my expense.
