This was an excellent final cast for the year
We in the UK have the metric system but... we also have a mix when measuring certain things like foodstuffs or distances!
It can be confusing... and I live here.

re: Oz tour and Swancon...
Supanova was in Brisbane and Melbourne; Swancon in Perth. :)
"There was an enormous amount of...celebrating, shall we say [at Swancon]". LOL That's an understatement!
If anybody out there *is* considering coming to Perth for Swancon, 2011 would be the year to do it. This year, Swancon plays host to Natcon's 50th birthday celebrations - double the awesome! Swancon36|Natcon50.

I thought I said SwanCon in Perth, did I mouth-fumble? Dammit!
You said you did Swancon in Sydney...
...and then went on to talk about Perth people at Swancon. :) No biggie. Just thought I'd clear it up in case anyone was confused. Mostly, it was just an excuse for me to hype Perth for this year's Swancon!
