Here we go Junkies, the first of several cool contests for the upcoming June 22 North American release of ANCESTOR in hardcover. We're giving away TEN Sigler prize packs chock full of great reads, lots of Sigler Swag™, with three hard-if-not-impossible to find items:

How to enter: No later than June 21, 2010 at 11:59pm Pacific Time, email contest@scottsigler.com with one of the following:

A screenshot of your confirmation/receipt page from your favorite online retailer for HARDCOVER version.
A scan of your paper receipt for HARDCOVER version.

Remember, each pre-ordered hardcover copy gets it's own entry, so if you have a receipt for five, you get entered five times (no need to send five emails.)

Still need to snag your copy? Head over to the ANCESTOR page! Then submit a copy of your proof of purchase, and you're done!

Winners will need to provide proof of shipping prior to receiving prize pack.

Prizes will ship in early July 2010, once winners have been picked and proof of shipping provided.

Does the eBook qualify for the contest?

I see links on the site to pre-order Ancestor from Amazon in either hardcover or eBook versions. I just got an iPad and I'd like Ancestor to be the first book I buy for it. Can I enter the contest with a pre-order for the eBook, or just with hardcover pre-orders? And do eBook sales get counted towards the NYTBSL?

P.S. The Ancestor trailer is AMAZING! I can't wait to see this as a full-length movie... with the FDO in a cameo!

FINALLY got off my fat ass and got my preorder through Borders and with shipping to get it here on the 23rd...the day before Heir Siglerisimo arrives in DC...so I get it signed live...barring normal mail fuckups. :)

Winners will be announced around July 4th

We'll draw winners shortly, then contact them so they can provide proof of purchase (winners have to prove they actually received the book, not just pre-ordered.) Once we get all the confirmations, we'll post the winners.

Oh. Your. God!

Today the mailman unexptectedly rings the doorbell and hands me a box, which came all the way from San Diego... it's from the FDO himself! And full of goodies!!! I can't believe it! So much awesome stuff in there.
