NOCTURNAL Episode #1

Great episode, Scott. For the first ep., everything seems pretty fleshed out. It's probably my favorite first episode of all your books. My head is spinning from thinking about all the goodness that is to come.

Really enjoyed the first episode! The sound FX -- I could take them or leave them. The writing is tight and graphic enough that they are not necessary, but an added FX punch here or there added to the atmosphere. When I had finished the episode and sat there wishing there was another that I could immediately hit PLAY on, it took me back to when I was listening to Earthcore, the last one of Sigler's novels I kept up with week to week, and that feeling of jonesing for the next release. Can't wait for the next ep!

that was really great. I'm impressed, but then again....everything I've heard thus far is impressive. Keep it coming. My dark horse is wearing off.....

Another great story from the Pod-God. I'm already hooked on it. I didn't pay much attention to the map. But cool idea. The sound effects were awesome and didn't take away from the story. There was only one time when the dude jumped on the garbage bin where it might've been too loud but it didn't last long.

Now *that's* why Scott Sigler will rule the world. uhhhmmm yes, delicious hideous Sigler action. Arm breakin, throat slashin, family murderin good times. Last night over dinner I informed my husband that I'd been murdered by the mafia ... he looked a little confused. :) Tastes Like Chicken

Hey Scott instead of just killing us dirty damn junkies off I think you should knock off your other competitors in podcasting. (Giving the evil eye to Rossi for cutting off my Crescent fix). Think about it if you are the only podcaster god left than everyone will be listening to you **Insert evil laugh here**. Anyways just a thought :)

Nocturnal has started off great. I love the limited sound effect, I think it is just right amount any more and they might take away from the story. I get up to the city once or twice a month for work, so now I get to geek out when I drive by the locations mentioned in the story. Thanks Scott...

So far this "Brian", sounds like he is awakening Nemises or Tokken avatar.

Considering I listened whilst in the midst of IMing Scott during the episode, I was hooked. Nice visuals and makes you wonder if our detective is clairvoyant or at least gets a things of what's to come. I have some ideas, but I shant say what they are. I just checked the maps (brilliant) and then went right back to them and checked my area just in case you're planning some kind of twisted mass murder orgy in Belgium... it looks safe for my halloween commute, but we are never really ok with you around, so I'll keep my eyes open while listening to Nocturnal and be sure to seat near some really tasty people in the train... ps. just tell to whoever/whatever is out there that portuguese meat is too salty anyway... please...

Hey Scott love the new website and the latest podcast. Its the first time I've listened to your stuff in front of the computer and what a treat to be able to follow the story on the map. As I listened to the description of the Li PO lounge I could literally see the half-round stone entrance and soak up the atmosphere of the shady bar. When Rex was run to ground by his persecutors, I could zoom in on the satellite view and see the leafy shadows behind the white van where he was pinned down. As I am not from the bay area and have never been to the United States of Sigler it was helpful to refer to the map as Bryan and Pookie drive to Chinatown. So thanks a bunch, you realise now I'll have to spend a small fortune on an internet phone thingy so if I listen to the next episode on the move, I can continue to "follow the story".
