Comment posting sort order

Hi,
Has anyone else found it a little difficult to follow the flow of conversation in comment threads? This is the only forum that I've been to that uses the sort-up behavior rather than sorting down (where the most recent post is at the bottom of the thread).
If there was no threading and all new posts were at the top of the list (like with utube), that would be different. But trying to figure out the sort order from when a person replies to someone's repy of a reply, it gets really confusing.
Why not just have them sort in the order by date like most blogs/forums do?

And it gave me this error:

you can do
change that yourself at the bottom of the tread.
change to whatever you desire and save settings.
[1st Dutch junkie] All that matters is getting my fix.
