UK cover of INFECTED released

INFECTED UKAwwww yeah, let the conquest of the entire planet move to Phase II. Soon, General Siglerisimo will release his map of world conquest (taken from the Fisher Price "My First Pogrom" kit), but for now, feast your peepers on the cover of the UK edition of INFECTED. It's trade paperback, and will be available on July 10, 2008.

Nice cover but does not really have the impact that the US cover has, its not so likely to grab someone's attention on a display stand. It doesn't shout "This is F***ing Wrong!" at you from across the room. The triangular pupil is too understated, the hazel eye is mundane and average, people are attracted by bright coloured eyes, its instinctive. I have the US book (although I'm in the UK) and the cover causes people to comment and take an interest, I'm not so sure that the UK cover will have that effect.
