Very happy to say there are some affordable hardcovers on amazon right now. I just purchased one.
I’ve searched for over a year and finally there are some reasonably priced copies, instead of those selfish people asking for $1000.
Hopefully mine will be in good condition when I receive it so I can add it to the other GFL books on my bookshelf.
One finally update.
I received my paperback of The All Pro today. My son was very excited when he saw the package and remained pleased after opening and viewing its contents. It took 12 days to arrive since ordering but such joy on my son’s face was well worth its wait.
Thank you A Kovacs for your e-mail communication and thank you Scott for simply being you.
Thought it best to send a follow up on my last post.
Just received Scott Sigler’s Newsletter e-mail informing me of The All Pro and The MVP paperbacks being released. In the newsletter he explains everything that I wanted to know, and for that I am grateful.
I ordered my paperback from this site a couple of days ago and I hope to receive it soon.
I’ve looked for The All-Pro in hardcover as well, it simply cannot be found for a reasonable price.
As a huge GFL fan, these paperbacks have been frustrating for myself and my son.
I was under the impression that the paperbacks would be released last year but things fell through (which happens understandably). Recently I heard that they were finally being released today (June 30th 2014). We were excited and went to our local Barnes and Noble. We found they received a shipment of The Rookie, The Starter and The MVP. Since we go to Barnes and Nobles once a week and my son always looks for Scott Sigler books (although he owns them all). We bought The MVP and went to the customer service desk and asked if they were going to get The All-Pro soon. She says her computer says it hasn’t been released yet and will be released on September 1st. That must be incorrect right? Can’t imagine they would release The MVP before The All Pro.
Its just unfortunate that Barnes and Noble doesn’t have any helpful information nor does Amazon. Having a son who is a fan and very impatient, its frustrating to not have any accurate information on there. Maybe it will be in stock on September 1st but I won’t count on it.
The story was great. It also seems like a tremendous compliment to you as an author that they put “God Complex” as the first story in the collection.
I cannot wait for “The Rider” and “The Gangster”
Don’t worry, you didn’t ruin it for me. Matter of fact, I just finished reading it and loved it. Like most Sigler stories, I wish it wouldn’t end. I love all the novella’s and short stories that have to do with the GFL universe.
Also possible – I just cannot find the link. If that is the case, please send me instructions on where it would be.
I wish my e-mail would send me notifications when people respond to my forums. I must not have clicked the box at the end to notify me of follow-up replies. I had no idea people responded to this, until now that is.
Just so people know – I did not read my ARC. I also became aware of the illegality of selling the ARC prior to it’s release and I frequently sent e-mails to Scott, informing him when I found another ARC on eBay.
I purchased the hardcover and the ebook of Pandemic, meet Scott Sigler (and also you Scott Pond) in Cambridge, MA during the tour. Also had a few beers with some junkies at John Harvard’s Pub after.
Thanks for acknowledging the plan at least. I heard you loud and clear…..we should expect the book released no later that 2015.
Could I get an answer on this please. It is completely okay if there is a delay, I understand you all are busy. I posted this a while ago.
I don’t believe he will be killed on the field. I see it ending with him on top, winning his 3rd or 4th GFL title. Then their will be an Epologue where Sigler shows QB as an old man, raising his son/daugter to be the next football star and him being inducted into the Hall of Fame or some crap. He will also destroy Gredok the Splithead and make him pay….
