Hey guys,
I had a really well written out post down to explain this problem with lots of witty remarks on Siglerism and our supreme Overlord but my Mac crashed and I'm too frustrated to put as much effort into this again, so here's the skinny, not sure if this exclusive to me (doubt it) or already documented and being worked on, but the problem is:
Many of the podcasts in "Scott Sigler Audiobooks" on iTunes can't be downloaded/listened to.
I also don't know if this is related to the newest (newer?) versions of iTunes or limited only to Macintosh users, but for at least one of the Bloodcasts as well as the entirity of the "The Rookie", which are all perfectly listed with title, length, description and so on, after clicking "Get", the download icon appears next to the podcast, spins for a few seconds and then turns into a white-on-grey exclamation mark, popping up the error message:
"There was a problem adding "The Rookie#1" to iTunes. The file might be corrupted, or a file type that iTunes cannot play."
At first I thought this may have something to do with the The Rookie being so "old" and podcast parameters perhaps having changed over the years, but since for example Bloodcast #7 is also affected, while all other Bloodcasts work fine, that theory kind of goes out of the window...
I've tried rebooting, relaunching, re-adding the podcast but to no avail, some podcasts work without a hitch, others valiantly refuse stubbornly presenting that same error message x(
Any other up-to-date Mac users here that could deny/confirm this?
I'm trying to be good junkie striving to meet the unattainable expectations of our Overlord, but this little "hitch" is seriously hindering me on my path to enlightment...
