I usually check the Active list (and the increase to 15 was a great idea!) and then I'll also track a few posters that I've found interesting (yes, dear sadock you are one of them).

But I often lose track of the Blog posts and other areas.

It may be a limitation of Drupal, but worth asking about.

Not to be the gum on the bottom of this junkie shoe, but I kinda like the two sections separated.

Having Scott's blog posts in a separate list allows me to see if there's anything he's posting without having to muddle through the junkie postings.  If anything, I could see combining the front page with Scott's blog list but I would rather see his posting kept separate from ours.

I thought sadock was asking for comments to the blog and front page to be included in the Active Forum Topics list. I don't think we want to mix the FDO's blogs in with the forum topics.

Keep the Front Page, Blog of F**K, and Forum the way they are, but alter the Active Forum Topics to include the Blog of F**K and Front Page posts if they happen to be more active than forum topics at any given point in time. In other words, whichever one of the three has the most recent comment goes to the top of the Active Forum Topics.

The only actual change would be introducing comments on Blog of F**K posts and Front Page posts into the "active" rotation. Scott's posts, and the location of them on the site would stay exactly where they are now. I think it would increase traffic to his posts, and make the site more ergonomic for everyone, but I'm just a measly peon. No need to listen to me

Certainly most of the junkies "get" the gutter brethren comments and probably just assume you are being snarky 80-90% of the rest of the time. And don't go giving me the poor, unappreciated schpeil/shpiel (hell, I can't spell for shite) either, ye olde Producer of DOOM.

Been down with a flu/cold in addition to ear infection from hell.

Good to get online again. Kind of did a half day today. Go in for minor ear surgery on Wednesday. Hopefully that will clear things up.

Do you feel hot air coming out?

Well, it's not like you got a piece of a dead guy implanted (or did you?)... but that does sound kinda painful. If it's any help, when my daughter got the tubes it was amazing how fast she recovered and she went years without any more ear problems.
