ebook for Kindle Fire

How do I transfer an ebook (MVP and also The Reporter) from an email onto my kindle fire?  I have tried using the email feature on the kindle, and it says it's downloaded and to check download file but there is no such thing as far as I can tell.  I emailed and got no response, so trying this way now.

Amazon doesn't have it purchased there so it's not downloading like the other books I have done. 

I need directions for idiots btw.  Cause although I love my kindle I am not that adept at it.

I find that the best option with all of Kindle's awesome options is to use Send to Kindle.  Have you tried that? It's here: http://www.amazon.com/gp/sendtokindle

however, my unziped files are in the

epub mobi file type. I dont believe these are supported?

Hi Doc,

If you use the .mobi file, that *should* work on the Kindle Fire, as the mobi file is native to amazon.

Try uploading the mobi file using Send to Kindle. If that doesn't work, shoot us a note at media@scottsigler.com and we'll sort you out.
