Crack Hits/Points Still Screwy

Well, after all of the different threads and messages about the Crack Hits I think I've just discovered a new glitch. The way I understood it from Mr. IT, there are supposed to be points given to the author when replies are posted to a message thread the started, right? Well that doesn't seem to be happening on my account as far as I can tell. There have been replies to my posts, but my Crack Hits haven't changed. Can ya help a junkie sister out?!?!

Way back when I first got onto the site, I read somewhere about how you could earn points and thought I had seen that in addition to getting 5 points per post, you also earned points for starting a thread/discussion and received points whenever someone posted a response to a thread/discussion that you had started. If I come back across whatever it was that I read, I'll post a link just to prove I didn't imagine it... The Crackpoints are just a fun thing, but if there are problems we'll go try and figure it out. Pulsar, Mr. IT and myself are working on a bunch of stuff right now, so it may be a bit before we get to it. Keep posting and have fun.

Crack points ARE fun, and addictive, really, I think you are enslaving us, getting us to CRAVE those points, and post mindless ramblings just to get our fix. well maybe we would post mindless ramblings anyway, but it is FUN to get points. Gimme my crack hits. They make me Happy.

The whole Crack Hits system seems to be working for now and after a while I figured out enough. I just hope Robbie or Paul will eventually (1) have some kind of general post or page with the lowdown on the whole points thing for newcomers and (2) fix the 'My Crack Hits" link to navigate correctly actually including the user number. Crack Points are not addictive. If they were that means I have wasted at least one full minute for each one. Crack Points are not addictive. So that's...like...870/5*1...no...154*5/1...crap...870/5= 1 minute so 154 minutes/60=2 hours & 34 of typing time that I will never get back. Crack Points are not addictive...I give up. I am going to get a M Dew.
