  Scott and I both agree it's important for the awards to get spread around the 'casting community. Scott's already won one and has a major book deal. The more authors that get recognition, the more likely it will be that the major publishing houses recognize their talent and give them deals as well. It's important (at least to me) that Scott not be viewed as an aberration. He will always be the one who broke the proverbial glass ceiling. Now it's time to force the publishing community to recognize that he's not alone.
