it looks like March 8th is quite possibly New Year's Day in the Siglerverse.  That is until we hit 10K--a more substantial number and probably worth making a New Year's Day adjustment on the Siglerverse official calendar.

Gmork, is there a way to do a wiki calendar with all the official Siglerverse Holidays on it?  Of course, we'd probably need the FDO himself to adjudicate submissions for formal inclusion.

Just saw this request and I think it would be a fantastic addition to the wiki!! I think April 1st definitely needs to be Ascension Day, as the FDO loves releasing his books into the wild that day and maybe the day Dark Overlord Media was announced could be Independence Day...can't think of any others just yet.

Also, not to be thick but why would March 8th be New Years Day?  I'm missing the reference.

ahh... March 8th was when we hit 7,000. Answered my own question.  Remember people...there are never any bad questions, but there are a lot of stupid questions *sigh*

the Great Gmork can ever say or do that's stupid.  You're too humble.  So now we have at least two High Holy Days:  Ascension Day and New Years Day!  Hooray for us and the 'verse!
