    It means you have multiple bosses bossing you around and all of them giving you work with no regard for all the sh*t you’re doing for the other bosses. Sometimes they even give it the fancy term “matrix management”

    On an organizational chart, there are direct lines (like the boss who signs your timesheets) and “dotted-lines” who are your bosses even if they don’t directly manage you. People you have to listen to, that sort of thing.
