Outstanding football play. I don't really understand the game (I'm Irish after all) but this is pretty sweet.

That little dude almost caught up with him, though!

I saw this. Not that amazing, just praying on that the little kids don't fully understand the game. The play was thought up by the coach's assistant not one of the players. It was deemed legal tho so good for them that it worked tho i doubt they could pull that off ever again cause any team they play now will be watching for it.
Sure, a coach came up with it. The kid executed perfectly, and you can bet most of the kids on the defending team will now show a keen interest in the letter of the law, making sure they know all the rules.
And no, probably won't work again. Just like Napoleon's columns will never work again after Wellington's fall-back, rotating firing lines bitch-slapped him and changed history. That's the nature of strategic confrontation. There is always an intellectual arms race.
if they'll trying to get a petition to require the snap to go through the center's legs like in Canadian rules football if more teams start trying this. Brilliant play though.
That is too awesome! I bet that score *had* to hurt.

.....can you imagine how much fun it would be if they knew what was up and totally nailed the QB?

They looked about 5. ._. Watching again and trying to compare them to the height of the ref or coach or whoever was standing there, they're probably older than that, but they still look tiny to me. ._.

Jr. High kids lately? When I went to school, none of the boys were as tall as I was but there were several other girls bigger than me. My nephew AJ is 5'8"/150lbs at 12 and has been playing full contact football for four years. Plus he plays arena football in the winter, so he and most his team mates know the rules pretty well. Most likely he would have clobbered the QB, then chastised him for only giving him a tackle instead of a sack.
What kills us, doesn't make us stronger.
.... than the size of the players. How often does anything short of high school have a marching band, fully painted field, cheer squad, and padded goal posts?
